I have gotten the minimum number of participants to join this event, so it's now official XD (yay~). I know many of you have some questions about it, but I had to make sure that there are actually people who are willing to join. I can now properly introduce to you the event :>
Just a reminder:
This event is for fun! Anyone can join, and that means people with different drawing styles (etc. anthros/ chibis/ anime/ realistic etc.) Please do not ask me to change your receiver just because what he/she wants is too difficult to draw. Don't worry! It's the thought that counts ^^ Give it your best shot and don't be afraid to make mistakes.
Details
Each participant will get a number. I use a random number generator to appoint a Santa and the receiver. Note that the person you're drawing/ crafting for may not be your Santa.ETC. Bill is Mary's Santa, but John is Bill's Santa, and so on XD I hope that was clear...
Each person has a choice of whether to make a wishlist or to let their Santa figure it out themselves ^^ Note me in the title of your note "My Wishlist!" if you had made a wishlist, or "Surprise Me!" if you would love to see what your Santa would do for you.
You can do as many presents as you like for your receiver! You can also gift presents to any of the other participants, BUT must have sent your present to your assigned receiver FIRST. If you have a question for the receiver, note me the information and I will be your messenger haha When giving your present, write in your artist statement something like: Ho, ho, ho, I'm your Santa for the Secret Santa event~ *strokes beard*
You don't have to write it exactly like that but it's just a general idea.
Rules
1. Do not ask who your Santa is, it's suppose to be a secret ><
2. Please put in effort in what you do, equivalent exchange ya?
3. Please follow DeviantART Rules as well
4. Keep all artworks PG-13, nothing more
5. No bases/ unfinished works/ works not done by you (I have sharp eyes so don't test me)
6. Do not ask for a "redo" of any of the gift sent to you, unless I have pointed out to the Santa that effort was not really put into it.
7. Please make your wishlists drawing-related, try not to let any amount of money be involved etc. shipping, points

No it's not compulsory
2. Do I have to watch you/ make a journal about this?
Nono you don't have to watch me >w< It's optional if you want to publicize this event, but the more the merrier :>
3. Can I join?
Anyone can join! Unless you're an art thief >.>
4. When do we give it to them?
Anytime before 31st December, but you're encouraged to give on 25th/ 26th December ^^

Registrations closes on the 30th November 12pm (GMT+8), everyone should know who their receiver is by the 1st December. Submission of gift to be handed out latest 31st December. If an extension of date is required, do let me know and I will decide on a case-by-case situation thanks ^^[UPDATE] I have started pairing whoever is in, if you are gonna opt out please tell me immediately!
